Reliable Landscape Maintenance,
Season After Season
Ongoing lawn and garden care for homes in Sooke, the Westshore, and select areas of Greater Victoria.
REGEN provides regular landscape maintenance for homeowners who want their property looked after consistently throughout the year.
From mowing and garden care to pruning, seasonal maintenance and soil-focused improvements, we keep things tidy, healthy and under control before small jobs turn into bigger ones.
What Ongoing Maintenance Looks Like
Every property is a little different, so maintenance should be too. The exact mix of tasks changes throughout the season, so we can keep the property in good shape without treating every visit the same.
Some landscapes need frequent attention during the growing season. Others are better suited to biweekly or seasonal service.
We build maintenance around the needs of the property, the time of year, and how quickly things grow.
A typical visit may include mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, garden cleanup, routine hedge care, deadheading, mulching, and other seasonal tasks.
What We Take Care Of
Lawn Care
Regular mowing, edging and general lawn maintenance to keep grass neat and manageable.
If we notice thinning, compaction or other lawn issues, we can also recommend improvements that go beyond routine mowing.
Garden Maintenance
Ongoing care for planted areas, including:
-
Weeding
-
Deadheading
-
Bed cleanup
-
Edging
-
Mulching
-
Seasonal cutbacks
-
Planting
-
General plant care
Pruning & Hedge Care
Routine shrub pruning and hedge trimming can be incorporated into regular maintenance to keep plants healthy and the property tidy.
Larger or heavily overgrown hedges may be quoted separately depending on their size and scope.
Seasonal Maintenance
Regular clients may also receive seasonal work such as:
-
Spring cleanup
-
Fall cleanup
-
Leaf removal
-
Perennial cutbacks
-
Bed preparation
-
Mulching
-
General seasonal tidying
We do take on selected one-time cleanup work, but our maintenance service is primarily designed for recurring clients.
We Pay Attention to What's Happening Below Ground
Landscape maintenance is not just mowing and trimming.
Repeated lawn problems, weak plant growth and stressed gardens are often connected to what is happening in the soil.
Because REGEN has a strong soil-health background, we look beyond the surface when something is not performing well.
That might mean improving organic matter, reducing compaction, supporting soil biology or changing how a lawn or garden is being maintained.
Not every property needs a soil program. But when something does need more than cosmetic care, we know what to look for.
Our Maintenance Service Is a Good Fit If...
-
You want your property cared for on a regular schedule
-
You prefer proactive maintenance instead of occasional rescue cleanups
-
You want lawn and garden care handled by the same team
-
You value plant knowledge, not just mowing
-
You want someone who can spot issues early and recommend sensible improvements
-
You’re looking for a long-term approach to keeping the property in good shape
If that sounds like what you’re looking for, we’d be happy to learn more about your property.
When Routine Maintenance Isn't Enough
Sometimes a lawn needs more than mowing.
Thin, patchy or compacted lawns may benefit from a more focused renovation approach.
Depending on the condition of the lawn, that may include:
-
Overseeding
-
Topdressing
-
Compost application
-
Soil improvement
-
Natural fertility
-
Establishment care
Where it makes sense, we can combine lawn improvement with ongoing maintenance so the work continues after the initial renovation.
